Funeral services for Dennis Busch, 76, of Ringsted, were held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at First Presbyterian Church in Ringsted with Pastor Suzanne Wobig officiating. Interment was at Armstrong Grove Cemetery, Armstrong. He died on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at Valley Vue Care Center in Armstrong, Iowa. Visitation was Tuesday at the church in Ringsted.
Dennis Burt Busch the son of Reinhold A. and Muriel (Meyers) Busch was born April 23, 1948, in Mason City, Iowa.
He received his education in Ringsted Schools. He then attended the welding program at Northwest Iowa Community College in Sheldon.
On April 19, 1980 he was united in marriage to Gloria Gilbert. The couple made their home in Ringsted for 44 years. Dennis worked for the Railroad Company and also farmed for many years. He then drove truck for Cargo Carriers and retired in 2010. For hobbies, he enjoyed golfing, bowling, woodworking, drinking coffee and visiting with friends.
Dennis was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Ringsted where he served on Church boards.
Left to cherish Dennis’ memory are his wife, Gloria of Ringsted; his children, Marcus Busch of Emmetsburg; Eric (Stephanie) Busch of Sanborn; Brent (Amber) Busch of Armstrong; and grandson, Kaulder Busch.
He has been preceded in death by his parents.
