Funeral services for Patricia Ann Hasbrook, 66, of Superior will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, June 19, 2026 at the Henry-Olson Funeral Chapel in Estherville with Pastor Kathy Kluis officiating. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m., Friday at the funeral chapel.She passed away at her home in Superior, lowa on May 1, 2026.

Patricia Ann Hasbrook, the daughter of Roland Hasbrook and Joyce (Von Holdt) Hasbrook, was born in Estherville, lowa on March 4, 1960.

Patty attended and graduated from Estherville High School in 1978. In high school, Patty was Secretary of the Office Ed program. As part of that program, she worked part time in the bookkeeping department of the Emmet County State Bank (now Northstar Bank). After graduation, Patty began working full time at the bank and was still employed there at the time of her death.

Patty’s dad, Ron was part of a band called the Country Squires. Patty often spent Saturday nights with her mom watching her dad play his guitar and fiddle on stages around Northwest lowa and southern Minnesota. The Sioux Valley Steakhouse was popular stop. Patty loved live music and her favorite concerts were Alan Jackson, Chris Isaak, The Eagles and The Everly Brothers.

Patty also enjoyed traveling. With her best friend, Lori Keeler, she traveled to Hawaii, England, Scotland and Washington D.C. They also spent a decade of vacations in the Black Hills. Patty cherished her small family that almost always included four legged members. From her dogs Pebbles, Freckles, Rags, Silver, Heidi, Molly and Max to the family of cats she and her mom welcomed in later years, Fred, Ethel, Ricky and Lucy. Patty loved and spoiled all of them.

Patty was baptized along with her parents in the Superior Methodist Church. She was currently a member of the Estherville United Methodist Church.

Left to cherish Patty’s memory are her best friend of fifty years, Lori Keeler, many friends, cousins and her family of coworkers across the decades she worked at the bank.

Patty was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Emmet County Animal Shelter.
