Dr. Richard Lepird, 96, of Estherville, passed away on August 14, 2026 at Avera Holy Family Hospital. A funeral service for Dr. Lepird will be held on Friday, Aug. 21, 2026 at 11 a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Sherburn, Minn.
Visitation will be held at the Henry Olson Funeral Chapel in Estherville on Thursday, Aug. 20, 2026 from 5-7 p.m. and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Burial will take place at Estherville Lutheran Cemetery, on Friday at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, Dr. Lepird’s family requests memorials to LIGA International (Flying Doctors of Mercy) or St. John’s Lutheran Church, Sherburn.
