Hannah Jo Johnson was born on December 18th, 1991. Her toughness, kind-heartedness, and love for animals became clear at an early age. In Junior High School, she met the love of her life. They were inseparable to the end. Hannah passed away on December 8th, 2023 from injuries sustained in a car accident resulting from an epileptic seizure. Her beloved dog, Juno, passed with her. Her thoughtfulness and ability to brighten the lives of all of those around her will be very sorely missed.
Hannah is survived by her fiance Curtis Larson of Ringsted, IA, her grandmother Janice Johnson of Winnebago, MN, her parents Tracy and Katy Johnson of Blue Earth, MN, her brother Gabe Johnson of Blue Earth, MN, her sister Liz (Ulferts) Vanderwerff of Cloquet, MN, her nieces Madison and Marlee Vanderwerff and Melanie Johnson, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, her pug Roxie, and many, many friends.
A Celebration of Life for Hannah will be held at Patton Funeral Home in Blue Earth, MN on January 13th, 2024 from 5 pm - 8 pm.
Any monetary gifts received by the family beyond the cost of cremation and services will be donated to the Emmet County, IA, Martin County, MN, and Faribault County, MN animal shelters.
Hannah chose to continue giving of herself as an organ donor.
