Funeral services for Taylor James Russell, 28, of Superior, will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, Aug. 2, 2024, at the Henry-Olson Funeral Chapel in Estherville with Pastor Doug Burton officiating. Interment will be at a later date at Superior Township Cemetery, Superior, Iowa. He died on July 26, 2024, at his home in Superior, Iowa.
Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m., today, Thursday, Aug. 1, 2024, at the Henry-Olson Funeral Chapel in Estherville.
Taylor James Russell, the son of Jerry Russell and Rhonda (Roberts) Russell, was born on April 13, 1996, in Estherville, Iowa.
He received his education and graduated from Estherville Lincoln Central High School in 2014. He attended Iowa Lakes Community College for two years in the business program. Taylor was employed with HyVee in Estherville for 13 years.
Taylor enjoyed going on many cruises with his mom, spending time with friends and family, listening to music, and going to concerts. He also loved cheering on the Minnesota Timberwolves and Vikings. Taylor truly enjoyed life.
Left to cherish Taylor’s memory are his mother, Rhonda and father, Jerry of Superior; grandfather, Tom Roberts of Albert City; aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Karen Kay Roberts, and paternal grandparents, Earl and Dathel Russell.
