Funeral services for Sharon K. Ferguson, 77, of Estherville, will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 14, 2023, at the Henry-Olson Funeral Chapel in Estherville with Jon Bliesmer officiating. Interment will be at East Side Cemetery, Estherville. Sharon died Monday, Jan. 9, 2023, at her home in Estherville.
Visitation will be from 9:30-10:30 a.m., Saturday at the funeral chapel.
Sharon K. Ferguson, the daughter of Floyd and Stella (Schreiber) Miller was born on January 11, 1945, in Mason City, Iowa.
Sharon graduated from Estherville High School before attending the Spencer School of Cosmetology. She ran her own beauty shop, Beauty Corner, for 34 years.
Sharon was a member of the United Methodist Church in Estherville, and the National Cosmetology Association.
In her free time, she enjoyed reading and listening to music.
Sharon is survived by her sisters, Ruth (Richard) Gottsche of Estherville and Sandy (Bill) Hall; nieces and nephews, Chad (Wendy) Hall, William (Pranom) Hall, Lance (Terri) Hall, Jennifer Hall, and Robin (Jon) Bliesmer; great-nieces and nephews, Carter Hall, Ciera Hall, Olivia Hall, Jett Hall, Julian Hall, Liam Hall, Jackson Hall-Fitch, and Isabella Hall-Fitch; and her god son, Mason Spoo.
She was preceded in death by her parents, nephew, Rod Gottsche, and a great-nephew, Daniel Achterhof.
