A Celebration of Life for LaVonne Lois Killmer, 71, of Estherville will be held from 1-4 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 3, 2022, at Joe Hoye Park in Estherville. She died on August 16, 2022, at her home in Estherville at the age of 71 years.
LaVonne Lois Killmer, was born on February 2, 1951, to William and Leona (Helmich) Carrison in Estherville, Iowa.
She graduated from Estherville High School in 1969. On November 24, 1979, LaVonne was united in marriage to Gary Killmer at the United Methodist Church in Estherville.
She loved to play bingo and the lottery, she loved music, being with her family, especially her great-grandchildren, and singing karaoke.
She is survived by two children, Terry Carrison and Toinette Carrison both of Estherville; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren with one on the way; her siblings, Dorothy Weir, Shirley Ann, Dennis Carrison, and Bill Carrison Jr.; her friend, Dave Theilen; also, by many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Gary Killmer, daughter, Emilie Grace, her parents, William and Leona (Helmich) Carrison, granddaughter, Shaylan, sister, Marlene Van Bibber, and brother, Harold Carrison.
