Elizabeth Ann (Betsy) Robinson Diedrichsen, 85, of Eatontown, N.J., passed away December 30, 1922, surrounded by loving family.
Betsy was born in Rhode Island on June 13, 1937, to parents Paul Robinson and MaryAnne (McCasky) Robinson. Betsy and her family moved to Estherville in 1947, and she graduated from Estherville High School—the Class of 1955. During this time, she worked at Stafford’s Hamburg Shop. She attended Iowa State University, Ames, for 2 years. She met her future husband, Loren Diedrichsen, there. Betsy continued her education at Thomas Edison State University receiving her AA degree. Betsy was a devout Catholic and enjoyed serving on many committees including singing.
Betsy is survived by three children: Bill Diedrichsen, Mark Diedrichsen and Catherine Ingersol; and four siblings: John Robinson, Edward Robinson, Catherine Curtis and Nancy Martin.
The funeral was held Jan. 4, 2023, at St. Dorothea’s Church, 240 Broad Street, Eatontown, N.J. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to: Parkinson’s Foundation or American Cancer Society or St. Dorothea’s Church.
