Bernice Arlene Petersen the daughter of Thomas and Lena (Westphal) Mosloski. was born July 2, 1932 in Armstrong, Iowa. She died Thursday, October 21, 2021 at Aspire Nursing Home in Estherville, Iowa at the age of 89. Per her wishes, no services will be held.
She received her education at East Chain schools. On August 28, 1952, she was united in marriage to Eugene Petersen. The couple made their home in Estherville. Bernice and Eugene had one child, Gary. Bernice was a custodian at Estherville Public Library and did house cleaning for many years.
Bernice was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Estherville and loved to garden and travel with their RV.
Left to cherish Bernice’s memory are her siblings, Alice Petersen; Lucille (Ralph) Pierce; Betty Ann (Ingel) Ingerson; Kenneth (Judy) Mosloski; and many nieces and nephews.
She has been preceded in death by her son, Gary; parents and husband and brother, Donald (Barbara) Mosloski.
