"I thought our kids played with great energy. A great game and day to honor our one sophomore Kaitlyn Reynolds," said Iowa Lakes coach Ashley Martin. "We are very thankful for Kaitlyn and all she has given the program the last two years."

Brianna O'Donnell contributed eight points, Tejah Hayden had seven, Bethany Rehse and Alisa Anderson each had four points and Tyler Pacheco had two.

Iowa Lakes (21-9 overall, 9-7 in conference play) will host a region quarterfinal tournament game at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, as Iowa Central comes to town.

On the other side of the bracket, eighth-seeded Little Priest Tribal College and ninth-seeded Ellsworth will face each other in a play-in game today with the winner facing top-seeded NIACC on Wednesday.

The Lakers/Tritons winner will likely play at NIACC this Saturday in the region semifinal.

Other games Wednesday include sixth-seeded Southeaster at third-seeded DMACC in Boone and seventh-seeded Southwestern at second-seeded Kirkwood in Cedar Rapids.
