SPIRIT LAKE - After posting a 5-4 record last season, Spirit Lake showed why it's a force to be reckoned with in Class 2A this year through the first five games.

Ranked second, the Indians improved to 5-0 with a 42-0 victory over Estherville Lincoln Central on Friday

The Midgets struggled to contain the hosts, as four of Spirit Lake's six touchdowns came on plays of over 50 yards.
