The Estherville Lincoln Central girls finally started their tennis season on Thursday and the Midgets started on the right note with a 6-3 win over visiting Storm Lake.

With juniors Kendall Evans and Josie Condon both coming off their state run in doubles last year, the two return to lead the squad this season.

Both dominated in their singles matches as Evans defeated Destiny Syhavong 10-1 while Condon won 10-0 over Serena Chaiyawong. The ELC duo then won 10-3 in doubles over Syhavong and Chaiyawong.
